Accessing your PayPal Checkout Client ID and Secret Key

If you’re planning on using PayPal Checkout for your merchant account, you must have access to your client ID and secret key. Don’t know how? You’re in the right place.

  1. Go to the PayPal Developers Website and click log in to dashboard. If you don’t have a PayPal developer account, sign up for one now.
  2. Set up your profile by adding basic information. Create a sandbox account to try out test payments.
  3. In the top right corner, click on [Your Name], then click on Dashboard. Once you are on the page, select Create App.
